- Apple Cider Tasting

Start with a few different ciders if you can find them. It doesn't matter too much if you only have one or two choices in your nearby grocery store, your guests will be customizing their drinks anyway.

SPIKE IT UP: Fireball | Screwball | Champagne

SWEETEN IT UP: Honey | Maple Syrup | Caramel Squares | Brown Sugar Cubes

SPICE IT UP: Cayenne | Bitters | Cinnamon Sticks | Star Anise | Red Hots Candies

GARNISH: Dried Apple Slices | Lemon Slices | Cranberries | Sage | Rosemary | Orange

ENJOY!

- BYOA (Bring Your Own Apple)

Apple bars are fun and interactive. Have everyone bring 2 or 3 of their favorite type of apple. When it's time, everyone can choose one they brought, or try something knew from someone else! As the hostess, we suggest setting up your slow cooker with a few jars of dips in a water bath (chocolate, caramel, white chocolate).

Make it a nacho bar! Set out some sprinkles, mini marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, etc.

TOO SWEET FOR YOU? LOOKING FOR SPOOKY?

- Mix 1cup lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of salt in a bowl; soak the apples for 30 seconds. Drain on paper towel.

- Place on baking sheet in 200 degree oven (or less) for 3-6 hours.

Pumpkin carving contests are so much fun, especially after a few spiked ciders! For those who don't want to mess up their evening bests, offer aprons and paints! Everyone can join in on the fun. See below for some great tips and tricks for carving and preserving your creations.

And what better way to celebrate this glorious sport than with a fall football party? Picture it now - friends gathered around the TV, cheering on their favorite teams while indulging in delicious snacks and beverages. It's like a touchdown for your taste buds!

Whether you're hosting a tailgate extravaganza or having an intimate gathering at home, a fall football party is the perfect excuse to channel your inner coach and show off your culinary skills. From buffalo chicken dip to loaded nachos, there's no shortage of game day grub to keep everyone fueled up and ready for action.

Of course, no football party is complete without some friendly rivalry and good-natured trash talk. So dust off your team jerseys, practice your victory dance, and get ready to shout at the TV like it can actually hear you (we all do it).

So grab your foam finger and get in the spirit because when it comes to fall football parties, the only thing that matters is having a ball...and maybe scoring some extra points with your guests by serving up some killer snacks. Game on!
